My daily life in Corona times
In the first week of the lockdown in November, I took a rest from school. I watched some movies and played games on my mobile phone. Then I set up a weekly plan to get a daily routine going. I find it easier to organize my day with a plan and to set up times for different activities: daily routines, chores at home , hobbies, school work, and of course workouts at home to stay fit.
But somehow I was feeling a bit down at the beginning of the lockdown. It was a big challenge and change to stay at home not having a “real plan” for the day and to have little social contact. I was not able to visit friends – that was annoying because I really enjoy hanging out with friends, going out for walks, etc. But for the sake of our health I knew it was very important to stay at home. I only had a very few social contacts, my only option for staying in touch with people was to call up friends and classmates. So I made a lot of phone calls.
During the Corona pandemic I had to take on many responsibilities at home and support my family.
For me the most important thing was that my family was healthy and feeling well. It became more and more important to reduce contact with friends and we all had to accept to restrict ourselves. But I really had to get used to it and to endure the many limitations and restrictions imposed on us because of the risk of infection with the dangerous virus. I had to get used to not to come in contact with people.
All in all, I felt weird and lonely - life was somehow a jail. It was just simply really hard.
